Famous for their sound for over 30 years, the AE1s are truly legendary. Now available in active/powered form, you’re not only saving space but also taking the headache out of choosing a suitable amplifier - they already have one!

Utilising metal cone drivertechnology has meant these speakers did, and still do, sound superbly punchy and detailed along with an overall full-bodied presentation.

Each speaker is fitted with a dedicated, 50-watt Class A/B amplifier (no master/slave linking here). This ensures not only superb drive and control of the speaker, but also excellent pair-matching.

Acoustic Energy’s studio heritage also makes the AE1 Actives just as happy in a small home studio as a home entertainment. Featuring pro-standard XLR balanced inputs and tonal shelf adjustments, the AE1 Active speakers make ideal monitors in small or travel studios.

Choice of luxury finishes

Premium real cherry wood veneer (Also available in standard high gloss Black or White) the AE1 Active speakers look every bit as good as they sound. Slim profile, magnetically attached grilles are also included for a more discreet style.
