The Focal Aria Evo X centre Speaker is designed to match perfectly with other speakers in Focal's Aria Evo X loudspeaker range. This centre is voiced to match with the other speakers in the range as part of a high-performance home cinema system.

Two flax-coned bass/midrange drivers provide good intelligibility with dialogue and the TAM tweeter provides clear and crisp highs. The maximum power handling is 120 watts.

Dynamic flax-coned woofers

The bass/midrange units in the Focal Aria Evo X centre speaker have focal developed flax cones. This comprises a layer of flax sandwiched between two layers of fibreglass. This creates a lightweight assembly and the flax fibres provide good damping characteristics. The result is a neutral sound with little colouration.

TAM tweeter

The Focal Aria Evo X centre speaker features a centrally mounted TAM tweeter. The ‘M’-shaped aluminium/magnesium inverted dome cone is designed to provide a widely dispersed sound field. This is assisted by the Urethane tweeter plate and waveguide. As a result, the treble has great definition and clarity.

Power flow multi-port system

Two rear bass ports are provided with the Focal Aria Evo X centre speaker. This bass reflex system boosts the bass and improves the low-frequency extension. Moreover, the power flow system minimizes dynamic compression for more impact and clarity.

Tuned mass damper drivers

The Focal Aria Evo X Centre Speaker drivers have a TMD (Tuned Mass Driver) surround. The surround is a rolled membrane that joins the cone to the surrounding metal frame. The TMD surround improves performance by reducing harmonic distortion. Harmonics are generated at multiples of the fundamental frequency. As a result, they can interact increasing distortion.

The quality crossover

The crossover in a two-way speaker comprises a high pass filter. Crossovers must be made of high-quality components for a long life and to maintain temperature stability. The Focal Aria Evo X Centre Speaker uses the best polypropylene capacitors and precision resistors. The result is an accurate frequency response and a smooth output.

Three sophisticated finishes

The Focal Aria Evo X centre speakers are available with three luxury finishes. High gloss black, Prime walnut, and High gloss moss green. Moreover, the front panel has a fine leather effect that complements the rest of the range. Lastly, there is also a magnetic grill.

Multi channel systems

A 5.1 home cinema system can be made of speakers from the Focal range. The Focal Aria Evo X centre speaker would be at the centre with any of the Focal Aria Evo X floorstanding or stand mount speakers at either side, along with other speakers on the rears - and a separate subwoofer from the Focal range.

You could also match these with some of Focal's on wall/dipole speakers or ceiling speakers for 7.1 channels or Atmos setups.
