In contrast to DVD or Blu-ray Disc players, the Pro-Ject CD BOX DS2 T is a pure CD transport. It's drive is specifically optimised for 1:1 playback of the Red Book CDDA standard.
Internally, the CD drive is mounted in a torsion-resistant cabinet, for added durability and smooth playback. Similarly, the Blue Tiger servo system allows for real-time scanning with minimal jitter.
